Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Quantum Edge L.L.C-FZ, the operator of SELOR. They are written to be read. If you use SELOR — the free Mini-Score, the $10 Full Report, or the $14/month Radar subscription — you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Who we are

SELOR ("SELOR", "we", "us") is operated by Quantum Edge L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Company No. 2526337, License No. 2526337.01, Tax Registration No. 104834529000001). We operate selor.work, serving the United States market.

SELOR measures the exposure of a job role to AI automation and produces a score, the way a credit score measures credit risk. It is an informational measurement tool. It is not a career counselor, a fortune teller, or an employment service. Measurement, not prophecy.

You can reach a human at hello@selor.work. We answer within 1 business day. Support hours are 9:00–18:00 CT, Monday–Friday.

2. The service

SELOR currently offers three things:

That's the whole catalog. If we add something, we'll say what it is and what it costs before you pay for it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SELOR. The service is offered in the United States only. If you use it from somewhere else, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk, and these terms still apply.

4. Accounts and the information you give us

SELOR is lightweight: an email address plus either your answers to 5 questions or a LinkedIn profile URL you paste. There is no password-protected account at launch — your email is how we identify you and deliver what you bought.

Two obligations on your side:

We are not responsible for a wrong score produced by wrong inputs.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars: the Mini-Score is free, the Full Report is $10.00 one-time, and Radar is $14.00 per month, auto-renewing.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Sales or use taxes may apply depending on where you live; if they do, they are added at checkout and shown before you pay.

We may change prices in the future. If we do, we will give you notice before the change takes effect. If you already have a Radar subscription, your existing price is honored until you cancel — a price change never applies retroactively to an active subscription.

6. Subscription terms and cancellation

Radar renews automatically every month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method $14.00 USD (plus any applicable tax) each billing period.

You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal — the link is in every receipt and every Radar email. No phone calls, no retention flows, no "are you sure" mazes.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then. What happens to money already paid is covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, summarized in Section 7.

7. Refunds

The short version:

The full policy, which controls if anything here conflicts with it, is at selor.work/refunds.

8. Delivery of digital goods

The Full Report is delivered instantly on-screen after Stripe checkout completes, with a backup copy emailed to you within 15 minutes.

If you paid and didn't get the report — check spam first, then email hello@selor.work. A human will resend it or refund you within 1 business day. You will not lose money to a delivery glitch.

9. Important: not career, financial, or legal advice

Read this section even if you skip the rest.

Your SELOR score is a measurement of market signals — task exposure, tooling adoption, hiring data. It is not a prophecy. It is not a guarantee. It does not predict whether you, personally, will keep or lose any job, and it is not a prediction of any employment outcome.

SELOR is not career advice, financial advice, or legal advice, and we are not your advisor in any professional capacity. Whether to change roles, learn a skill, negotiate, or stay put — those decisions are yours, made with your own judgment and, if you want one, your own advisor. We give you the measurement. What you do with it is on you.

10. Acceptable use

Use SELOR for its intended purpose: measuring AI career risk for yourself (or your household). Do not:

If you break these rules, we can suspend or terminate your access (Section 13).

11. Intellectual property

We own the service: the scoring methodology, the software, the report formats, the site content, and the SELOR name and marks. Buying a report doesn't buy any of that.

What you get when you buy a Full Report or subscribe to Radar is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your report and score for your own (and your household's) purposes. You may quote your own score publicly — "SELOR scored my role 71" is yours to say. You may not republish the full report, use our marks to imply endorsement, or build products on our outputs.

The information you give us stays yours. Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle it.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SELOR is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scores are error-free, that the service is uninterrupted, or that any outcome will follow from acting (or not acting) on a score.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantum Edge L.L.C-FZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost income, lost employment opportunities, or lost data — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you only used the free Mini-Score, that amount is $0, and the cap is $10.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or willful misconduct.

13. Termination

You can stop using SELOR at any time. Cancel Radar via the Stripe customer portal; request data deletion at hello@selor.work (we delete within 72 hours — details in the Privacy Policy).

We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate your Radar subscription without cause, we refund the unused portion of your current billing period. Termination for cause (Section 10 violations) does not entitle you to a refund. Sections 9, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email you and update the date at the top at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use SELOR after the effective date means you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, cancel before they take effect — Section 7's refund rules still apply.

We will not change these terms retroactively to take away a refund right or a price you were promised.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Talk to us first. Before filing anything, email hello@selor.work with a description of the problem. We get 30 days to work it out with you informally — most problems die in the first email.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you and we each consent to jurisdiction and venue there. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in small-claims court where you live, if the claim qualifies, or waives rights you have under your state's consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@selor.work. A human answers within 1 business day, 9:00–18:00 CT, Monday–Friday. More options on the contact page.
